Yoga for Back Pain

This workshop is designed for individuals who have struggled with or are suffering from low back pain that is inhibiting their daily activities. It would also be beneficial for therapists or trainers working with those individuals. Students attending the workshop will be provided with an experienced, safe and supportive environment in which to explore and understand their injury though a yoga practice. Both workshop facilitators are RMT/Yoga teachers and have experienced and recovered from severe back injury. The workshop will provide students with injury related anatomical knowledge, pranayama exercises designed to decrease pain and increase core strength, and a sequence of postures to assist them in their recovery. Time will be provided at end of session for questions related to back injury and recovery.
