The Gentle Art of Decompaction; From Cranium to Feet

This 2 day clinical course will challenge therapists to increase their palpation skills and will add gentle whole body techniques to their repertoire. The therapist will learn assessment, evaluation and treatment of compacted articulations and this knowledge can be easily assimilated into the participating RMTs treatment plan. Using decompaction techniques increases range of motion in each joint, increases vascularity, increases suppleness in the surrounding soft tissue and decreases pain and tension. This course will:Focus on palpation exercises to deepen and soften palpation and increase awareness of cranial rhythm. Anatomy review of each articulation and surrounding neural input, vascularity and soft tissueGlobal anatomy review of articulation, including links and interconnectednessDiscussion and brainstorming of physiological implications for each area.
