In this 2-day Thai Massage on the Table course, students are introduced to the Traditional Thai Massage and Yoga-like stretch techniques in the Supine, Prone and Side-Lying positions. In addition to this, the History, Rules, Methods, Benefits, Directions and Abbreviations of Traditional Thai Massage, as well as the concept of initiating "energy" movement with the use of Acupressure on the 'Sen' Meridians through the body are covered. These Meridians are the same as those found in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine.Upon completion of this course students will be able to perform a 60 - 120 min. Traditional Thai Massage on the Table without having to actually get up on the table. A total of 70 Steps are introduced and practiced to target the Feet, Legs, Hips, Shoulders, Arms, Hands, Neck, Face and Back. Additional emphasis in this massage is placed on deeply focused abdominal work to stimulate digestion function and stimulate the Sen Energy, which originates from the - Hara- at the abdomen.Course dates: 2-days, Sat.
