Date: 1-Day Intensive Workshop, Thurs., April 10th / Time: 9:00AM - 5:00PM Instructor: Sharon Brown-Horton, owner of Banyan Thai Massage 'ITM School' of Chiang Mai Advanced Teacher & Practitioner with over 9 years of teaching experience Foot Reflexology is an ancient form of Massage that has been used for more than 3,000 years to stimulate the body's internal organs as well as blood and lymph circulation. In this 1-day Workshop, students will learn how to perform a 60-min. Traditional Thai Foot Reflexology & Massage sequence that incorporates the use of a re-usable wooden massage tool. This type of massage may be performed on a massage table, in chairs, or on the floor on a mat.Using a step-by-step course booklet, pictures demonstrate how to stimulate 58-Reflex Zones using a combination of thumb slides, flat knuckle slides and acupressure using a wooden massage stick. This method will be combined with 31-cream based massage techniques using hands, palms and fingers to relax lower leg muscles and work on the 'Sen' energy lines. Each Reflex Zone will be discussed as to location and how it pertains to the general health of each organ and joint of the body.
