The Movement Assessment & Palpation (MAP) Course is design to enhance your ability to assess movement capacity and its contribution to pain problems and MSK injuries. Assessment strategies will focus on integrated movements such as: ‣ Gait Analysis ‣ Squat Analysis ‣ Pushup Analysis As well as: ‣ Neuro-motor testing ‣ Articular Examination ‣ Palpation of key anatomical structures including abnormal tension in the superficial fascia and peripheral nerves. The foundation of the course is based on: 1. Dynamic Systems approach to assessment 2. Recent research on fascial assessment/testing 3. In depth understanding of mechanosensitvity, peripheral and central sensitization as contributors to pain in the patient.
